Design and Development

I designed and developed the Shopify store for Sapphire RX, a telehealth platform offering doctor-prescribed GLP-1 weight loss treatments including Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, and Oral GLP-1 tablets. The project demanded something most eCommerce builds don't: earning clinical trust before a single cart is opened. The store was structured to guide anxious first-time patients from their first scroll all the way through prescription checkout with zero friction and maximum confidence. The build incorporated custom telehealth flows, HIPAA compliance messaging, dynamic pricing tiers, quiz integrations, and data-driven retention strategies through email and affiliate marketing infrastructure.

Home Page

The homepage was engineered around one priority: earning patient trust within the first five seconds. As a telehealth brand in a regulated medical space, the entry point had to strike a precise balance between clinical authority and human warmth. Trust signals — HIPAA compliance, LegitScript certification, 5-star patient ratings, and fast approval guarantees — were positioned above the fold to immediately disarm skepticism. The hero section leads with an emotionally charged headline supported by a clear and direct CTA, pulling undecided visitors into the product discovery flow without resistance.

A 3-step onboarding section breaks down the prescription journey in plain language, reducing the #1 drop-off driver in telehealth: confusion about the process. Real patient testimonials with measurable results were placed strategically as the final persuasion layer before the footer, reinforcing social proof at the point where most users reconsider.

The product pages for Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, and Oral GLP-1 tablets were designed to answer two questions patients arrive with: "Which one is right for me?" and "What am I actually paying for?" Transparent, tiered pricing options (Starter, Standard, Maintenance, 90-Day Supply) were structured to support multiple decision stages — from first-time patients to long-term subscribers — while simultaneously pushing average order value upward toward the 90-day bundles.

A dual CTA system — "Start My Order" for high-intent buyers and "Get My Prescription" for undecided visitors — routes each intent type into the appropriate conversion flow rather than forcing a single path. The quiz integration embedded on product pages captures visitors who aren't ready to buy but are ready to learn, feeding them into a guided prescription discovery experience and reducing overall bounce rate.

Medical checkout required a fundamentally different trust architecture than standard eCommerce. The checkout experience was designed with three pillars: clarity, compliance, and confidence. The physician consult fee ($20) is disclosed upfront and contextually — not buried in fine print — turning a potential friction point into a credibility signal.

HIPAA compliance and LegitScript certification are reinforced throughout the flow to keep patient confidence high at the most vulnerable decision moment.

Subscription plan selectors were positioned within the flow to support upsells to 90-day supply options without feeling pushy. The cart experience was kept intentionally lean — no distractions, no clutter — with only trust-reinforcing elements remaining: approval timelines, discreet shipping confirmation, and refund policy access. Billing statement transparency was included as a direct response to a real friction point for patients sensitive about discretion.

This page was built to dismantle the single biggest conversion barrier in telehealth: "I don't know what happens after I pay." A 6-step visual journey — from eligibility quiz to ongoing post-delivery care — was structured with alternating image-and-text layouts and grounding, clinical-yet-human copy at every stage. Each step was written and designed to address a specific patient anxiety in sequence: eligibility uncertainty, cost transparency, approval timelines, pharmacy fulfillment logistics, and long-term care access.

The page functions as both a trust builder and a pre-qualification tool — patients who complete reading it arrive at checkout already educated, with objections pre-handled, resulting in meaningfully lower cart abandonment post-click.

Checkout Page

I optimized the Shopify checkout experience to reduce friction and increase completion rates. Express payment options are prioritized for faster conversions, while the layout and form flow are streamlined to minimize drop-offs. Subscription details and recurring pricing are clearly communicated to build trust and reduce post-purchase friction. Strategic checkout upsells were added to increase AOV without disrupting the buying experience, resulting in a clean, conversion-focused checkout flow.
